1. We sing the mighty power of God
That made the mountains rise,
That spread the flowing seas abroad
And built the lofty skies.
We sing the wisdom that ordained
The sun to rule the day;
The moon shines full at His command,
And all the stars obey.
2. We sing the goodness of the Lord
That filled the earth with food;
He formed the creatures with His word
And then pronounced them good.
Lord, how Your wonders are displayed,
Where'er we turn our eyes,
If we survey the ground we tread
Or gaze upon the skies.
3. There's not a plant or flower below
But makes Your glories known,
And clouds arise and tempests blow
By order from Your throne;
While all that borrows life from You
Is ever in Your care,
And everywhere that we can be,
You, God, are present there.
HYMN 2:
1. The heav'nly host are all astir,
The angels take up their harps
The saints all set with their voices
To join the glorious worship
Our God's day of rest has now come
It is a most glorious day
Heav'n is fill'd with joyful noises
How delightful their worship.
2. Let us with the heav'nly throng,
To praise God, He is our King,
Let us cleanse and prepare our hearts,
And sing with holy voices
Ours can only be a foretaste
Of their rest in heav'n above
Until we see the Lord our God,
Whom we worship face to face.
3. And until then, let us go on
Worshipping on the Lord's day
Let's set aside our anxious cares
Invoke His presence 'midst us
He has commanded so to do
His blessings He will bestow
Let us serve Him without fainting
He will surely reward us.
HYMN 3:
1. Now, my tongue, the mystery telling
Of the glorious body sing,
And the blood, all price excelling,
Which the Gentiles' Lord and King,
In a Virgin's womb once dwelling,
Shed for this world's ransoming.
2. Given for us, and condescending
To be born for us below,
He, with us in converse blending,
Dwelt the seed of truth to sow,
Till He closed with wondrous ending
His most patient life of woe.
3. That last night, at supper lying,
'Mid the Twelve, His chosen band,
Jesus, with the law complying,
Keeps the feast its rites demand;
Then, more precious food supplying,
Gives Himself with His own hand.
4. Word-made-flesh, true bread he maketh
By His word His flesh to be,
Wine His blood; which whoso taketh
Must from carnal thoughts be free:
Faith alone, though sight forsaketh,
Shows true hearts the mystery.
5. Therefore we, before Him bending,
This great sacrament revere:
Types and shadows have their ending,
For the newer rite is here;
Faith, our outward sense befriending,
Makes our inward vision clear.
6. Glory let us give and blessing
To the Father and the Son,
Honour, might, and praise addressing,
While eternal ages run;
Ever too His love confessing,
Who, from both, with both is One.

1. In the misty days of yore
Jesus’ precious blood had pow’r
E’en the thief upon the cross to save;
Like a bird His spirit flies
To its home in Paradise,
Thro’ the pow’r of Calv’ry’s crimson wave.

And the blood has never lost its pow’r,

Jesus’ blood avails for sin forever,
And will never lose its pow’r.
2. I was lost and stepped in guilt,
But the blood for sinners spilt
Wash’d away my sins and set me free;

1. Elijah went to Mount Carmel;
To prove what God would do.
When he was put on trial; Baal's prophets were there too.
Elijah built an altar - For all around to see.
Let the fire from heaven - Fall on me.

1. Hear the footsteps of Jesus,
He is now passing by,
Bearing balm for the wounded,
Healing all who apply;
As He spake to the suff'rer
Who lay at the pool,
He is saying this moment,
"Wilt thou be made whole?"

See the life-stream is flowing,
